# What should I do if I get stuck during ID verification?

**If your ID verification isn’t working, there are a few simple checks and fixes you can try.**
**Before you retry**
Make sure:
* You are using a valid physical ID (Driver’s Licence, passport, or proof of age card)
* Your ID is clearly visible and not damaged
* You are in a well-lit environment
**Try these steps**
1. Refresh the page and start the verification again
2. Switch to a different browser (Chrome or Safari work best)
3. Try completing the verification on your phone instead of a computer
4. Check that your camera permissions are enabled in your browser settings
