Helper FAQ - How can I increase my chances of winning a job?

The best way to increase your chance of winning a job is with a prompt response. Even if you are not available for the job, parents always appreciate (and remember) helpers who respond to their job invites.
Improve your profile ranking – Juggle Street has developed an algorithm to display parents the “best and most relevant” helper profiles. The algorithm calculates your ranking based on a number of measurements including; number of jobs completed, number of jobs cancelled (negative), 5-star rating, written reviews, recent activity, and proximity to home address.
Video profile – if you really want to “stand-out” upload a short (30 - 60 second) personal video from your mobile. This is a great way to “sell yourself” and gives parents a feeling for your personality. Helpers with profile videos do get invited to more jobs!

Parent FAQ - Can I cancel my parent subscription?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time by going to the payment section of your account and selecting "Cancel Subscription".

Helper FAQ - Qualifications and Working With Children Check/Blue Cards (Australia Only)

You are encouraged to list your relevant certificates and qualifications such as first aid, Cert III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education etc. Juggle Street does not verify your certificates and qualifications, parents are responsible for conducting their own due diligence and enquires. Parents on Juggle Street are required to follow the relevant State legislation relating to the employment of babysitters and nannies.
All new helpers 18 years and over require a Working With Children Check or Blue Card. Your account will not be approved until your WWCC/Blue Card information is verified by Juggle Street.Once the information provided is verified, it will be displayed on your profile along with the verified icon. If the information provided is invalid your account will remain pending.If your WWCC/Blue Card expires or is withdrawn you must update your Juggle Street profile accordingly.
All existing helpers are required to obtain a WWCC or Blue Card by 1st July 2019.
Juggle Street does not ask for, or collect Police Check information.

Question 4

Parent FAQ - What happens if your helper cancels the job?

If the helper cancels the job via chat and not officially via Juggle Street (by using the cancel button), the parent should tell the helper to officially cancel the job as this means they will get a cancellations point on their profile. If the helper does not do this, please contact our customer service so that we can sort this out for you.

Cancellations do not happen often, but when they do it's extremely frustrating. Luckily Juggle Street allows you to repost jobs, so you can hopefully find a replacement quickly.

Question 5

Helper FAQ - When and how do I get paid?

Parents set the price they are wish to pay for a job, and you apply or decline depending if you are available and if you think it is worth it. Parents nominate the payment method (cash or bank transfer) and are also required to indicate if they will pay extra if they arrive home later than expected. If you are awarded the job the parent will pay you directly at the end of the job in cash or via bank transfer.

Yes, it's easy to upgrade your subscription from a monthly to an annual. Simply reach out to our customer service team and we will organise this for you.
